Refurbishment of Grade II Listed farmhouse:
Cleevestones, Upper Norton, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

Work on this Grade II Listed 17th Century Farmhouse with later additions and
alterations carried out up to the 1950s, involved a complete renovation of the ancient
building structure and the re-ordering of the interior spaces to bring the property back
into use as a substantial seven bedroom family house with provision for entertaining
and social activities, whilst retaining its original historic and architectural features and
character.

The detailed measured survey revealed the existence of a second inglenook fireplace
complete with a fan driven spit. Both inglenook fireplaces have been refubished and
made operational. The work, which has been extensive, detailed and of high quality
was managed on site by a construction manager, Jamie Cant, employed directly by
the owners, Mr and Mrs Horlick.
